The Pumpkin is a food item that can be physically found around the world. It is one of the few items that are involved with the new farming system in Experimental Rust. When eaten, a pumpkin restores 10 health, 100 hunger, and 15 thirst. Eating a Pumpkin can provide varying amounts of Pumpkin Seed, which can be planted and grown into more pumpkins.
Found around the world, Pumpkins can be interacted with and harvested. Just like mushrooms, they can be eaten. However, when eaten, they may release Pumpkin Seed, which you can plant and gain more pumpkins to eat.
- Pumpkins can be placed on the players head, and worn as headwear.
- The Pumpkin has durability and the lower it gets the less likely you will get seeds from eating it.
- Pumpkins were introduced as part of a new farming system for the new Rust.
