Description
Attach this to a weapon (with at least one free slot) by dragging and dropping this item onto it.

The flashlight mod adds a flashlight to a player's Firearm, providing an effective light source. It can be especially useful in tight, dark areas where a Torch would render the player defenseless.

Usage

An attachment is placed onto a firearm by dragging the attachment onto the firearm the player wishes to place the attachment onto. The firearm must have an open attachment slot in order to be able to have the attachment placed onto it.

Players can toggle their flashlight on and off by using the "F" key.

Firearms

Below is a list of firearms that mods can be attached to:

Obtaining

Flashlight mods can be obtained in three different ways:

Crafting

Flashlight mods can be crafted using 5 Low Quality Metal. Doing so will take 7 seconds and yields one flashlight mod. A Workbench is required to craft the item.

Trivia

  • The flashlight can sometimes become stuck in the "on" state for other players, effectively making you an easy target for some players, or alerting other players when you were trying to be stealthy. This can be fixed by dying, or logging out and rejoining the game.
  • The Flash Light Mod (like the laser sight) points sideways on the Revolver.

The holographic sight is an upgrade to enhance ranged accuracy, akin to the Laser Sight.

It's practically the most useful attachment for a weapon, and is typically used the most out of any other attachment.

Usage

An attachment is placed onto a firearm by dragging the attachment onto the firearm the player wishes to place the attachment onto. The firearm must have an open attachment slot in order to be able to have the attachment placed onto it.

The Laser Sight modification adds a laser sight to your weapon. This allows the user to see where the point of aim is at the hip and while aiming. The laser dot is visible to everyone. Along with a slight increase in accuracy, the user can use the laser sight to pre-aim from the hip before aiming down the sight to facilitate faster target acquisition.

Usage

An attachment is placed onto a firearm by dragging the attachment onto the firearm the player wishes to place the attachment onto. The firearm must have an open attachment slot in order to be able to have the attachment placed onto it.

Players can toggle their laser sight on and off by using the "G" key.

Firearms

Below is a list of firearms that mods can be attached to:

Obtaining

Laser sights can be obtained in two different ways:

  • By crafting them yourself;
  • Finding them in Loot Crates.

Crafting

Laser sights can be crafted using 5 Low Quality Metal. Doing so will take 7 seconds and yields one laser sight. A Workbench is required to craft the item.

Trivia

  • When the laser sight is attached to the M4, the laser's point of aim is above the actual aim point.
  • Laser sight doesn't work correctly on the Bolt Action Rifle. It points off to the left, and actually hinders use.
  • The laser sight on the revolver points off to the right, effectively rendering it useless.

Description

Silencers are used to reduce the sound and sight of gunfire. Silencers do not completely eliminate gunfire noise but reduce it significantly, making it impossible to hear from a long distance. The silencer also eliminates muzzle flash, making it difficult to tell if a gun has been fired, especially in darkness.

The silencer incurs a range penalty when used.

Usage

An attachment is placed onto a firearm by dragging the attachment onto the firearm the player wishes to place the attachment onto. The firearm must have an open attachment slot in order to be able to have the attachment placed onto it.

Obtaining

Silencers can be obtained in two different ways:

  • By crafting them yourself;
  • Finding them in Loot Crates.

Crafting

Silencers can be crafted using 8 Low Quality Metal. Doing so will take 7 seconds and yields one silencer. A Workbench is required to craft the item.

Trivia

  • Previously, silencers had no actual effect other than being a visual add-on.
  • Believed to have a slightly lower drop chance than other mod type blue prints
